Welcome to the re-designed and re-titled Ritchie family blog!
Mark thinks it's too "Wall Street Journal." What?!?! Because hearts and purple and disco balls are ALL OVER the Wall Street Journal, right? Get some new reading glasses, hubs! AND, he was also kind enough (annoying enough) to point out that I forgot an apostrophe after "Ritchies", up top. Actually, I did NOT forget. But I also didn't know if it went before or after the "s" so I deliberately left it off. So there.
Tori Spelling thinks purple and red are horrible together. Usually Tori is right (love her), but this time she's wrong. Yup, I said it.
But *I* like it, and in my world, that's what matters. Usually. Sort of. Once a week, maybe?
Anyway, I have a zeeeeeeeellion other things to update and blog about which I'm way waaay behind, BUT I just wanted to say that part of getting my shiz together this summer, is showing my blog some more love. It's my scrapbooking and journaling and keeping my parents updated on their grandcherubs all in one, so it's kind of important to me!
And, so that my huge group of ...... three? ...... blog readers can help me out, I'm outlining what exactly shizla that I need to get together. This is a somewhat personal departure from my usually happy-happy-joy-joy (sorry, just watched Demolition Man last week) family outing blog entries, but hey, we're all friends here, right?
And I want you to keep tabs on me, and check in, and if it's not done by Labor Day, you can point at me and make fun of me and poke me and call me "loooossssseeeerrrrr!!!!!!" Deal?

Okay, I'll admit that I added on 17, 18 and 19 so I could do an instant check-off. DON'T act like you don't do that, too, with your lists! Sheesh.
But anyway, to make a long list a short story, basically EVERYTHING in my life needs to get cleaned. And simplified. And organized. That's not too much for 3 months, is it? Why now? Well, because just in case the Mayans were right and 2012 is IT. And since, for the first time in recent memory we are NOT traveling this summer, and I frankly really don't have a lot to do (aside from the 10 million day-to-day mommy duties, that's all), so why not. Wait, I need to add another...
22. HIRE A SUMMER NANNY so I can GET this stuff done (work out conflict with goal #13 later).
Who's with me? :)

Impressive! And now I remember why we've gotten along so well: we're both all or nothing types by nature. I like your new design and, as always, love your attitude! :)
ReplyDeletewhen you figure yours out, wanna help me with mine? Acutally Modern Parents Messy Kids has been doing an "organize your entire life" series... could be something you'd like. :)
ReplyDeleteLove it! When you get your life cleaned, simplified, and organized I know another life that needs a major overhaul in that department. But, wait isn't life too much fun to clean, simplify, and organize?
ReplyDeleteHa ha, Deborah, I'm SUCH a black and white person it's ridiculous. Drives Mark crazy. Thanks!
